As part of Sähkö-Jokinen´s new SafeCity concept the streets in the Karjaranta area in Pori are equipped with KAPU safety poles, KAPU traffic lighting poles and KAPU sign poles. This is in order to increase traffic safety also on urban areas. Safety poles are mainly used on highways. Therefore it is significant that our hometown Pori takes part on making the urban areas safer.
Traffic is growing in the cities all the time. Serious accidents happen too often. There is always a risk of serious personal and material injuries when colliding into an ordinary stiff pole. In case of collision KAPU safety poles diminish a risk of injuries for the driver and for the other travellers significantly. Over the years there has been thousands of collisions without injuries on our safety poles.
