Sähkö-Jokinen’s staff introductions series now turns to Sanna Jokinen, who works in customer service and sales support. As you may have guessed from her name, she is a third-generation member of the family business.
Sanna joined our staff in May 2022 and jumped directly into the frying pan in the middle of our busiest season. Orienting yourself effectively and taking on a new industry during a hectic period can be quite the challenge for anyone, but Sanna managed brilliantly.
“Learning the product and diving into the technical lighting world felt challenging at the start,” Sanna recalls. She quickly learned the ropes, however, and the technical secrets of poles and pole bases soon became clear. At the same time, she brought her own professional skills and a new perspective to the office.
“I expected new challenges, interesting work and a supportive atmosphere. My expectations have been met, and I have made a great transition into the Sähkö-Jokinen organisation,” Sanna beams.
A background of financial expertise
Sähkö-Jokinen’s sales staff has been reinforced during Sanna’s tenure, and her work will gradually be expanded to include a role as financial assistant. She has 15 years of experience in finance, with a degree in economics and business administration.
“The most rewarding part of my job is handling logistics. I enjoy load planning, and it feels good when the process – from offer to customer delivery – has proceeded smoothly and successfully. Customer satisfaction is one of the main objectives of our business,” she notes.
Sanna spends her free time raising her family while also putting aside enough time for personal friendships. In the future, she also hopes to spend more time on her own hobbies, exercise and wellbeing.
