At the beginning of 2024, a significant change occurred in the ownership structure of Sähkö-Jokinen when Karnell Finland Oy acquired the majority of Sähkö-Jokinen’s shares. As a result of the acquisition, the company’s organization will also be renewed, with the Jokinen siblings plan to step down from the company’s operational management due to upcoming retirements.
Lasse Jokinen, CEO, will transition to the role of senior advisor on September 1, 2024, and on the same day, the new CEO Ville Nieminen will start his position. Ville moves to the CEO role from his current position as Sales Director. The support from Lasse during the transition and Ville’s diverse experience provide Ville with excellent readiness to further develop the company and create new success stories! Ville strongly believes in the importance of the commitment of the staff to building the company’s success.
Tiina Jokinen, CFO, will retire on July 1, 2024, and her responsibilities will be transferred to the new Business Controller Satu Räsänen. Satu has a diverse background in various stages of business development and brings strong expertise to Sähkö-Jokinen to ensure the company’s continuous development and strategic vision to support the organization when facing future challenges and opportunities.
Jussi Jokinen, production supervisor, will retire on July 1, 2024, and his duties will be transferred to the Production Manager Pasi Ylitalo (pole bases).
Simo Jokinen, Import and Export Director, will step down on December 31, 2024, and his production management duties will be transferred to Markus Latvajärvi (poles). Simo’s sales tasks will be distributed within the sales organization, which will expand with new personnel by the end of the year 2024.
Both Pasi and Markus have worked as production engineers for several years in the company. Thus, they have a strong foundation to start developing the company’s production processes to meet the company’s growth targets.
The changes in ownership and management bring a new perspective and energy to the organization’s operations. The goal for the new management is to ensure the company’s competitiveness and offer customers even better experiences.
